About Bodhira: Bodhira is a pre-primary learning school integrating daycare and extended programmes. We treat learning and care as one unified system, with classroom time, play, routines, transitions, and extended hours considered part of a child’s developmental day. We consciously reject rote, worksheet-driven schooling and passive daycare. Every adult contributes intentionally to children’s growth.

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Early Years Educator (1–5 years) to implement our developmentally rich curriculum and create a safe, structured, and engaging environment for children aged 2–6. This is a hands-on role focused on observation, reflection, and professional judgment under the guidance of the Head of Learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom & Learning Practice: Implement lesson plans and activity frameworks; maintain clear learning intent; balance play, exploration, and structure.
• Observation & Child Development: Observe children’s developmental progress, maintain records, and share insights with leadership.
• Care & Routines: Treat meals, hygiene, rest, and transitions as developmental opportunities; support emotional regulation and social interaction.
• Collaboration: Work with fellow educators, support staff, and participate in planning meetings and training sessions.
• Parent Communication: Share structured observations under guidance; escalate complex queries to the Head of Learning.
• Systems & Professional Responsibility: Maintain documentation, follow schedules, and uphold safety and hygiene protocols.

Zone Emphasis (Based on Strengths): While all educators work across learning areas, one may be assigned a primary focus:

• Language & Expression – Storytelling, conversation, early language development
• Sensorial, Motor & Physical Development – Gross/fine motor skills, movement-based learning
• Creative & Aesthetic Exploration – Art, music, rhythm, process-focused expression
• Social, Emotional & Care-Based Learning – Emotional regulation, peer interaction, routines as learning

Who We’re Looking For:

• 1–5 years of experience in early childhood education (ECCE/D.Ed/NTT preferred, but aptitude and attitude matter most)
• Genuine passion for working with young children
• Open to feedback, reflective, and professional
• Comfortable working within structured systems and routines

Non-Fit Indicators:

• Dislike for structure, feedback, or routines
• Preference for low-accountability, informal environments
• Treating daycare as babysitting

Work Structure & Compensation:

• Full-time, on-site in Jaipur
• Rotational responsibilities during extended hours and Saturdays as per the school calendar
