Job Description – PGT (Physics)

Position: PGT – Physics Curriculum: CBSE Location: Karol Bagh, New Delhi, INDIA Position Type: Full-Time (11-Month Contract) Salary Range: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) of Physics to inspire and educate students at the higher secondary level. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive Physics curriculum, fostering a deep understanding of scientific principles, and preparing students for academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons to higher secondary students.
• Develop and implement well-structured lesson plans, instructional materials, and teaching strategies.
• Assess student progress regularly, provide timely and constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a positive, disciplined, and conducive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to curriculum development.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including competitive entrance tests where applicable.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with best teaching practices and subject advancements.

What We're Looking For

• A Post-graduate degree in Physics from a recognized university.
• A professional teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed.).
• Demonstrated expertise and a strong passion for Physics.
• Proven experience teaching Physics at the higher secondary level.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning.
• A collaborative team player with a professional and dedicated approach to education.

Mandatory Experience

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as PGT in Physics or related subjects in a reputed school.

Mandatory Qualification

• Master’s in Physics
• B.Ed (Bachelor of Education)
• CTET cleared
