The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary English Teacher to inspire and educate young learners in English language and literature. This role focuses on developing foundational English skills for primary school students, fostering a love for reading, writing, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to primary school students, adhering to curriculum guidelines.
  • Plan and prepare comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and activities to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to active learning.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to make learning English enjoyable and accessible.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student development.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching practices and subject knowledge.

What We're Looking For

  • Relevant academic qualification in English or a related field.
  • A pedagogical qualification (e.g., B.Ed.) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise and passion for teaching English to primary school students.
  • Prior experience teaching English at the primary level.

Compensation
