The Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Head of International - IB PYP. This pivotal role involves leading the implementation, development, and continuous improvement of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). The successful candidate will ensure the programme aligns with IB standards and the school's educational philosophy, fostering an inquiry-based and student-centred learning environment for primary education.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning and operational oversight of the IB PYP curriculum, ensuring fidelity to the IB framework.
• Guide and support teaching staff in effective PYP lesson planning, inquiry-based learning methodologies, and pedagogical best practices.
• Oversee the development and implementation of robust student assessment strategies within the PYP, ensuring meaningful feedback and reporting.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment consistent with IB PYP principles and the school's values.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school leadership, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience for all students.
• Facilitate ongoing professional development for staff, focusing on IB PYP updates, pedagogy, and curriculum enhancements.
• Manage all aspects of IB PYP authorization, evaluation, and accreditation processes in line with International Baccalaureate requirements.

What We're Looking For

• A relevant academic qualification in Education, preferably with a specialization in primary education or educational leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise and significant leadership experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP).
• Proven track record in an educational leadership role, ideally within an IB World School.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor staff.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment practices, and student-centred learning approaches within the PYP framework.
• Commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovative educational environment and to continuous professional growth.

Compensation

Annual Salary: INR 2,500,000 - 3,000,000
