Economics Teacher

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Economics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in economics at the secondary/senior secondary level.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging economics lessons aligned with the curriculum
• Teach core topics such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, national income, money & banking, and economic development
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessments
• Evaluate and grade students’ work, providing timely feedback
• Prepare students for internal exams and board/competitive examinations (if applicable)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics (B.A./M.A. Economics)
• ATHE Level 6 Diploma/B.Ed. or teaching certification (mandatory as per institution norms)
• Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner
• 5+ years of teaching experience in British Curriculum
