SEN Teacher Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive learning community.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and support students with special educational needs
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum content and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Work collaboratively with class teachers, parents, and external specialists
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Recognised teaching qualification (ATHE, B.Ed, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of SEN teaching experience, preferably in a British Curriculum school
- Strong understanding of SEND practices and inclusion strategies
