Special Education Teacher Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in a K–12 setting.
The ideal candidate will develop and implement Individual Education Programs (IEPs), deliver tailored instruction, and create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
You will be responsible for adapting teaching strategies, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with parents, staff, and support professionals to ensure student success. Strong classroom management, empathy, and communication skills are essential for this role.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Teaching qualification (Level 6 Diploma in Teaching or B.Ed.)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Special Education within a K-12 school
- Currently employed as a Special Education teacher in a K-12 school
- Credential Evaluation Report (initiated or completed)
