English Teacher - Key Stage 3

The Key Stage 3 English Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the UK National Curriculum for Years 7–9. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the Key Stage 3 English curriculum standards.
• Use differentiated and inclusive strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Mark and provide constructive feedback on student work following school assessment policies.
• Support students’ literacy development, confidence, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Contribute to the planning and development of the English Department’s curriculum and resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues, form tutors, pastoral teams, and school leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, English Literature, Linguistics, or a related field (required).
• ATHE, B.Ed, or equivalent recognised teaching qualification (required).
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a British Curriculum school (required).
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 English (Years 7–9) is essential.
• Must be available to join immediately to 2 weeks
